The critically acclaimed, award-winning Nigun Chamber Ensemble presents a concert, The Art of Jewish Music, at the Newton Festival of the Arts. The performance will include a unique blend of Jewish folk songs in Yiddish and Hebrew, popular Jewish traditional instrumental music and art songs and significant instrumental pieces by great Jewish composers of the 19th and 20th century, including Mendelssohn, Achron, Bloch, Weiner, Gershwin and Bernstein.
