Join Rabbi Emily Mathis and B’nai Torah MetroWest of Wayland for Modern Jewish Voices: Community and Conversation. Join us for the first in a year-long explanation of modern Jewish life, or ancient wisdom meets contemporary questions, as we begin with “The Amen Effect: Ancient Wisdom to Mend Our Broken Hearts and World” by Rabbi Sharon Brous.

Rabbi Brous has written an inspiring book about the power of community, based on one of her most impactful sermons. In a time of loneliness and isolation, social rupture and alienation, what will it take to mend our broken hearts and rebuild our society?

Join us for coffee and bagels at 9:30 a.m., followed by the book discussion from 10-11:30 a.m.
