The MetroWest MLK Day of Service is an awesome community-wide opportunity to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through service and volunteerism.

The day is a dynamic event when we make, bake foods and build items to support people experiencing food insecurity and other economic challenges in MetroWest (we also hold an art project called Stars of Hope). The event is open to Jewish youth, families and adults throughout the Greater Boston area, regardless of synagogue affiliation or youth group membership. All that participants need is the desire and willingness to roll up your sleeves to dig in and help others in a time of need.

The event is co-led by J-LOFT (Jewish Learning Opportunities for Teens) and Volunteer Ventures MA, with support from the Jewish Teen Initiative of CJP.
