What does a Jewish grandmother from Brookline, a Harvard medical student, an optometrist from Newton, a new mom from Mansfield and a woman with a disability from Arlington all have in common? They will all be uniting at the Mega Challah Bake 1,000!
It’s hard to beat the satisfying and wholesome feeling of baking your own bread, especially challah. Few Jewish foods evoke the same warm sentiments as challah. Many remember the aroma of freshly baked challah in their grandmothers’ kitchens, and always on the table for Shabbat dinner with family and friends.
Now imagine that feeling multiplied by 1,000, because it is shared with ONE THOUSAND other amazing, strong, powerful Jewish women.
YOU can be one with 1,000 women from the Greater Boston area, and make challah together as a community.
After three successful sold-out Mega Challah Bakes in Boston, Chabad proudly presents Boston Mega Challah Bake 1,000.
Unite with women of all ages and from the many cross-sections of the wider Jewish community. Learn the secret power of challah and discover the beauty of this tradition unique to women.
The challah baking process has always been regarded as a time for spiritual reflection and serves as a reminder to nurture our relationships. Regardless of Jewish knowledge, affiliation or background, women and girls over age 16 are invited to join the Mega Challah Bake.
The program will include a hands-on workshop, teaching participants the secret to great-tasting challah, which they will then take home to bake and enjoy.
Join thousands of women worldwide who will be uniting on Thursday, November 10, to bake challah, kicking off the global Shabbat Project.
This event WILL SELL OUT. Advance reservations required. No walk-ins.
