The Zamir Chorale of Boston brings you “Masterworks of Majesty,” the third in the chorus’s Divine Majesty Series.
What makes music great? What makes music sacred? What makes music popular? We will investigate these issues through a performance of the greatest and most popular synagogue music of the nineteenth century, music that is still sung after more than a century and a half.
The Divine Majesty Series is made possible by an anonymous underwriter in memory of Mary Wolfman Epstein and Cantor Barney Mould.
