Join chef Michael Leviton as he cooks and discusses some of his favorite Passover recipes from the archives of the Jewish Heritage Center at the New England Historic Genealogical Society. This collaboration between Leviton, JArts, Jewish Heritage Center and the Vilna Shul explores, enlivens and shares the recipes and tastes of Jewish Boston.
This is the next installment of Kitchen Explorations, a culinary journey through historic Boston. Waves of migration in and out of neighborhoods have made Boston all that it is, and many of these traditions can be traced through kitchens, foods and related stories.
In past seasons, we have explored Boston’s Jewish roots through the deli, had a conversation with WBUR host Shira Springer about the history of Jewish food in the area and held many sold-out food walking tours of Chelsea with Dr. Ellen Rovner.
In partnership with The Wyner Family Jewish Heritage Center and the Vilna Shul, Boston’s Center for Jewish Culture.
