This two-day, interactive network-building experience will connect federation professionals and colleagues across the country as we explore effective models in Jewish teen education and engagement. Whether you extend your FedPro stay or join us just for this convening, you will leave with:
- New frameworks and outcomes for tweens & teens
- Impactful and replicable engagement models
- Toolkit to measure Jewish impact on teens
- Diverse national network
Drawing on best practices from a decade of on-the-ground learning by the Jewish Teen Education and Engagement Funder Collaborative teen initiatives, powered by Jewish Federations, you’ll be exposed to up-to-the-minute research and data to help inform or jumpstart your strategy and investment decisions.
Sessions led by experts in their field will cover a wide range of contemporary topics. Together we’ll unpack the rapidly-changing world of teens today and share strategies you can bring back to your organization or community. Topics covered will include relational engagement, new models in professional development, complexities in Israel education, the role of parents and youth mental health and well-being.
This convening is for anyone looking to launch, grow or reimagine their teen engagement strategy. Workshops, panels and design sessions are right if you are:
- A direct program provider for teens/tweens
- Someone who funds, oversees or supports youth programming or youth-serving organizations
- Someone who provides professional development for direct practitioners
This convening will immediately follow the FedPro conference in Chicago (taking place Nov. 5-7). It is not necessary to attend FedPro in order to participate.
For more information about this convening, including a special rate for Greater Boston professionals, and about receiving a professional development stipend from CJP to cover additional costs, contact Leah Finkelman.
