The idea of Peoplehood – being part of a Jewish collective that brings with it privileges and demands – can appear at odds with the individualism of our generation. The gap between the experience of nationhood in Israel and other experiences of Judaism worldwide further challenges this concept.
Join us for this five-session seminar lead by scholars from the Shalom Hartman Institute as Boston-Haifa Connection leaders gather for broad and deep study of some of the many tensions raised by Jewish Peoplehood.
