Yom Kippur—time to reflect and begin again for a new year! Hear the ancient song Kol Nidre chanted and as an instrumental. Our humanistic, non-theistic liturgy and our member reflection will make this a very meaningful experience for people with a variety of backgrounds and beliefs. If you have a long Jewish tradition, you will find our service to be a refreshing alternative. If you are new to Jewish tradition, you will find this service very accessible.
Friday, Oct. 11:
- Kol Nidre Service: 7:30-9 p.m., hybrid with ASL interpretation
There is a memorial section of this service and the names of departed loved ones will be honored. All are welcome to submit names to be read aloud.
Saturday, Oct. 12:
- Morning Service, 10-11:15 a.m., hybrid with ASL interpretation
This service is family friendly and meaningful for all ages, kids and adults. - Midday Service, 12-1:30 p.m., hybrid with ASL interpretation
This service features a participatory group discussion following the reflection speaker. - Closing Service, 5-5:30 p.m., Zoom
In this short Zoom service, we conclude our special day by committing ourselves to a better year and a better world.
