In order to keep our community safe, we will be offering High Holy Day services through the TBE @ Home network, using Zoom as the platform to provide our spiritual and communal events.
Once again, joining Rabbi Gouze will be Rabbi Krieger, who will lend his beautiful voice and gentle presence to our prayers and services. We have created service segments to reduce potential screen fatigue with no one service segment lasting more than 2.5 hours.
Throughout the services, inspirational videos will provide a backdrop for some of the prayers being chanted as a way of helping to create a spiritual atmosphere. The Torah readings will be pre-recorded and you will have the opportunity to actually see the Torah scroll and words as they are being chanted by congregants.
For the second day of Rosh Hashanah, we will be using the format of a seder, created by Rabbi Gouze, as a way of offering a different path to connect to the spiritual themes of the High Holy Days. This has been part of Sephardic traditions for centuries.
