Holocaust survivor Helena Weinrauch, 92, survived three concentration camps, torture by the Gestapo, and the death march from Auschwitz to Bergen-Belsen. When she was 88, she decided to become a ballroom dancer. “Fascination: Helena’s Story” weaves her story of survival with her love of dance and of life. This film recently won Best Documentary at the 2017 New York City International Film Festival. Film followed by Q&A with writer/producer Karen Goldbarb. The evening includes a special performance with ballroom dancers from the Fred Astaire Dance Studio.
