On the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Dachau, the Holocaust Legacy Foundation is partnering with Boston Jewish Film to honor the legacy of survivor Steve Ross, who was rescued from Dachau, by hosting a screening and panel discussion of the acclaimed documentary “Etched in Glass: The Legacy of Steve Ross.”
Winner of the Boston Jewish Film Festival’s Best Documentary Award, “Etched in Glass” tells the powerful true story of Ross, who as a young boy survived 10 Nazi concentration camps over five harrowing years and went on to change countless lives in Boston through his resilience and message of hope.
Following the one-hour film, Holocaust Legacy Foundation co-founder and CEO Jody Kipnis will lead a panel discussion featuring Michael Ross, Steve’s son; Roger Lyons, the writer, producer, and director of the film; Tony Bennis, co-producer and editor of the film; and Glenn Frank, the co-author of “From Broken Glass,” the biography of Steve Ross.
