Nothing is more important in 2024 to averting climate disaster than U.S. elections in November. Over 8 million environmentalists typically skip presidential elections! The Environmental Voter Project has been working all year to mobilize 4.8 million potential first-time climate voters in 19 states. And the efforts are starting to pay off: according to voter files, 48,188 of these targeted voters have already cast ballots as of Monday, Oct. 21, and that number will grow much bigger by Election Day. But we also know that 4+ million of our targets won’t vote early, which means it will all come down to contacting these voters during the final five days of the election. Please help us get turnout for the EVP voter turnout calling sessions. Pick as many slots as you can! The more you can do, the better.

Why do people make phone calls with EVP?

”I call for two reasons: 1) The Environmental Voter Project has demonstrated real impact in getting more than 1.8 million U.S. citizens who care about the environment to become super voters since 2015. That is amazing! 2) With recent past presidential elections being decided by a handful of states and thousands of votes, we have to push to get every last pro-environment voter out to vote this Election Day.”
—Scott Kadish

“We have our climate, democracy, women’s reproductive rights, and immigrants’ rights on the line with this election. We can’t just sit back and see how things shake out. Now is an important time to be active and empower our friends and communities to do the same.”
—Madeleine Barr
