Come make toothbrush robots with Cub Scouts Pack 247, sponsored by Temple Reyim of Newton at our open house. We’ll have a lot of fun, and some ice cream too!
Cub Scout Pack 247 is a Jewish-affiliated Cub Scout pack that includes Jewish values along with the rewarding programming of Cub Scouts. We arrange our activities around Shabbat and the holidays. It’s a “parent and me” program, open to kindergarten through fifth grade youth, so you get to jump in with your child. You get to be silly. The two of you will get to work together, going on adventures, and play together. You’ll probably learn things at the same time they do!
You were there for their first step and remember their first word. Why wouldn’t you want to be there when they spend their first night in a tent, catch their first fish or are awarded their Bear Badge? How much fun will it be to work with them building that pinewood derby car? Or baking that cake together? Our kids grow up really fast, and these are moments that only come once in a lifetime.
Please let us know if you’re planning on coming (so that we know how much ice cream to get!) by emailing our cubmaster, Shaun, at pack247newton@gmail.com, or by RSVPing to our Facebook event listing here.
