“In the beginning God created.” The opening chapter of Genesis creates a powerful case for creativity: we are all creative, we are created to create, and our creating creates the world. Together we’ll explore these lines and ask what wisdom they have for our lives today. In this workshop, we’ll add our unique voices to the voices of tradition through interactive text study. Then, moving from study to studio, we’ll activate our own inherent creativity through a hands-on experience with art materials.
Experience Jewish Studio Project’s unique methodology as we deepen our connections to one another, to tradition, and to ourselves. You’ll leave refreshed and renewed with a new approach to sustain your creative spirit. No prior experience with art or text study needed.
This session is presented in partnership with Tamid of Hebrew College Adult Learning Programs.
