Come learn about McDew’s leadership of the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee and voter registration drives in the South during the 1960s. We will also explore McDew’s personal journey to Judaism and how it informed his civil rights work and activism. McDew’s longtime partner, Beri Gilfix, will tell his story. The event will be moderated by Gann Academy history teacher Yoni Kadden.
