The second concert in our chamber music concert series will feature performers Gabriela Díaz (violin), Cara Pogossian (viola), and Jan Müller-Szeraws (cello).

About the performers:

Gabriela Díaz, a childhood cancer survivor, is a passionate advocate for music in health care, founding Winsor Music to bring chamber music to Boston hospitals. Known for her vibrant and expressive performances, she collaborates with renowned composers and ensembles, including the Kronos Quartet. Gabriela teaches at Wellesley College and Longy School of Music and has recorded for labels such as New World and Naxos.

Armenian-American violist Cara Pogossian is an award-winning chamber musician and principal violist of the Portland Symphony Orchestra. She has collaborated with esteemed musicians like Kim Kashkashian and the Borromeo String Quartet and performed with major orchestras such as the Boston Symphony and Los Angeles Philharmonic. Cara is currently pursuing graduate studies at New England Conservatory as a Presidential Scholar.

Cellist Jan Müller-Szeraws enjoys a versatile career, performing as a soloist with orchestras worldwide and collaborating on innovative projects such as “Bach & Ragas.” A member of Boston Musica Viva and Collage New Music, he is also a faculty member at Phillips Academy and an artist-in-residence at the College of the Holy Cross. Jan plays a David Tecchler cello, generously on loan from the Cohen Foundation.
