Enjoy the beauty of yoga and all its benefits while sitting in a chair and/or using a chair as a prop for balance while standing. This gentle class is designed for people with mobility limitations (i.e. due to injury, aging, chronic disease, pregnancy, etc.) and/or practitioners who prefer a chair yoga format.

Like traditional yoga, this class will incorporate breathing techniques (pranayama), movement, poses (asana), and meditation. Chair yoga can help participants increase flexibility and stability, improve posture, reduce chronic pain, stress and anxiety while fostering overall mind-body awareness and a strong sense of wellbeing.

Chair yoga can also be beneficial for individuals who work at a desk and would like to add yoga to their work day.
