Host Hal Slifer welcomes Joey Baron and Rabbi Jason Strauss as this week’s guest DJs. Joey Baron, artistic director of the Jewish Arts Collaborative (JArts), will discuss and play music from some of the performers who be appearing this season with JArts.
Rabbi Jason Strauss, who serves as rabbi at Congregation Kadimah-Toras Moshe, will talk about his life and career and choose a few of his favorite tunes from the Chagigah Radio Jewish Songbook.
The comedy of Jerry Seinfeld will be featured on Chagigah Comedy, and a film by Steven Spielberg will be part of our Movie Maven quiz. Our Chagigah Radio mini concert will include the music of three popular Israeli tunes from the year 2015.
