Host Hal Slifer welcomes Jeffrey Savit, president and CEO of Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Boston (JBBBS), who will talk about his life and career and the new opportunities at JBBBS. Jeffrey will choose a few of his favorite tunes from the Chagigah Jewish American songbook and share his reflections on these songs.
Hal will also talk with Boston-area singer-songwriter Mark Stepakoff, who is widely admired on the local folk scene. We will feature one of his wry, humorous songs.
Our Chagigah Connection tune this week is the English and Hebrew version of the Stevie Wonder hit “Sunshine of Your Love.” Our Chagigah Matchup will feature Barbra Streisand versus Israeli pop star Neeta.
