Hal Slifer, host of Chagigah Radio, welcomes Cantor Elias Rosemberg of Temple Emanuel of Newton to discuss his life and career, as well as perform two songs to be broadcast as a Chagigah Mini Concert.

On this week’s program, Neshama Carlebach will talk about winning the Indie Music Award for her tune “Believe.”

Michele Tamaren will introduce a new feature, “The Message Within The Music,” and will discuss the origins of the tune “Bei Mir Bist du Shoen.”

Rabbi David Meyer of Temple Emanue-El of Marblehead plays the music of Matti Caspia on his feature “Our Jewish Heritage and The Hits.”

Rabbi Josh Breindel of Congregation Beth El will reflect on these upside-down times and play the music of The Beatles. We will also play a feature from 2016 when we first met with Rabbi Breindel.

Dr. Alan Kaplan of Newton will help ease your anxieties as he discusses how to deal with children and the closing of many summer camps this year.

We will celebrate Yom Yerushalayim with special music from the Chagigah Music Library as introduced by Mike Slifer.

The career of comedian Jerry Stiller on Chagigah Comedy will be showcased, and we will have a special mini concert of music from the Israeli music charts.

Join us for music, humor and schmoozing on a Sunday morning!

To listen, tune into 88.9 WERS.
