Hal Slifer, host of Chagigah Radio, welcomes Dr. Alan Kaplan of Newton as he discusses relationships during this pandemic stay-at-home environment. Dr. Kaplan will also choose a few tunes from the Chagigah music library.
Rabbi David Meyer of Temple Emanu-El of Marblehead will share music by Bob Dylan’s son-in-law, Peter Himmelman, on his feature, “Our Jewish Heritage and The Hits.” Rabbi Meyer and Josh Nelson will also sing one of their own musical compositions.
Michele Tamaren will discuss the origins of the song “Over the Rainbow” on her feature, “The Message in the Music.”
Rabbi Josh Breindel of Congregation Beth El of Sudbury will reflect on life and hope during this pandemic by choosing music by Simon and Garfunkel.
We will play the Jewish side of Bob Dylan in a mini concert, as well as play the top Israeli songs on the music charts from Israel. Jerry Seinfeld joins us on Chagigah Comedy.
