The community is invited to a free screening of “Shared Legacies,” a moving documentary about the critical historical lessons of the Black Jewish alliance during the civil rights movement.

An audience talk-back following the film will be moderated by Deborah Coltin, president and executive director of Lappin Foundation.

Panelists:

  • Dr. Kenann McKenzie-Defranza, president of the NAACP North Shore Branch
  • Dr. André Morgan, director of opportunity, access and equity at Beverly Public Schools
  • Rabbi Alison Adler of Temple B’nai Abraham
