From the bustling streets of Bombay to the vast deserts of Babylon, get ready to embark on a magical journey along the “Silk Road” where strings are silk and rhythm is spice! Vishnu R on navtar, Moshe Elmakias on piano and Nitin Mitta on tabla perform a specially selected program of original compositions by Vishnu and Moshe as well as new arrangements of traditional Jewish and Hindu music.

One special composition is a collaboration on an arrangement of a song that originated in the Jewish community in India. Vishnu last brought his virtuosic playing to KI in 2022, while Moshe has performed for us several times, most recently as part of the Yogev Shetrit trio.

Doors open at 7. Concert begins at 7:30. All seating except FRONT ROW is unassigned. Tickets cannot be refunded but can be transferred to a different attendee. We recommend buying tickets online whenever possible. Tickets will be available at the door with payment in cash or check only, for $35.
