Dr. Tova Ganzel
Dr. Tova Ganzel is the director of the midrasha in Bar-Ilan University, and one of Nishmat’s first trained yo’atzot halakha (women’s halakhic advisors). She completed her Ph.D. in the Bible department at Bar-Ilan University (2005). A former Tikvah Fellow, she is the recipient of a number of other prestigious academic awards and grants, published articles, book chapters and encyclopedia entries and is the author of A Visionary’s Oracles – From Destruction to Restoration, Studies in the Prophecies of Ezekiel (Tevunot-Herzog, Alon Shvut 2012), and among the editors of In the Eyes of God and Man: The Believer and Scientific Study of the Bible (Beit Morasha, 2015).

Rabbi Dr. Yonatan Feintuch
Rabbi Dr. Yonatan Feintuch teaches Talmud, midrash and Jewish education at Yeshivat Har Etzion Beit Midrash for Women in Migdal Oz, Herzog College in Alon Shvut and Bar-Ilan University.
He earned his BSc in medical sciences at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and his master’s and Ph.D. in Talmud from Bar-Ilan University. He also holds a teacher’s degree from Herzog College.
He writes and speaks widely on issues of midrash and aggadot of the Talmud, with a special emphasis on issues of the dynamics between halakha and aggada in the Talmud. He has published many articles on these topics in leading academic as well as Torani journals.
