Join Koleinu for their concert featuring Sabbath selections by composer Frederick Piket and works of Bonia Shur, as well as a setting of Psalm 29 by 19th-century composer Emil Jonas, A. W. Binder’s beautiful “Hashkiveinu” and, of course, some Chanukah delights!

Koleinu (“Our Voice”) performs a wide range of sacred, secular, traditional, and contemporary Jewish choral works. Now in its 16th season, the chorus has sung at the North American Jewish Choral Festival, the Boston Jewish Music Festival, the New England Holocaust Memorial and in many Boston-area concerts and multicultural collaborations. Directed by Carol Marton, Koleinu is known for its spirited performances, excellent repertoire, and the high musical standards it maintains as a non-audition ensemble.

Soloist Cantor Peter Halpern of Temple Shalom joins Koleinu for this exciting program.

The concert is presented by Temple Shalom’s Bonim and the Music Committees.
