The Museum of Russian Icons presents an afternoon with Migration + Memory collectors Vladimir and Vera Torchilin, whose collection is on exhibit now at the museum, and curator Anna Winestein, to discuss the evolution of art-making, collecting and patronage among Jews in the Soviet Union and in emigration.

They will share personal stories as well as historical insights on the cultural and creative capital of Russophone Jews in the USSR and the artistic legacy and perspectives these artists and collectors brought as immigrants to the U.S.

A light reception will follow the program.
